Colorado Glory

Irv Middlemist and Karen Standridge, featured local artists in August at Gallery 113, paint the glory of Colorado in unique ways. Middlemist captures the radiant beauty of Colorado's Aspen trees in his three-dimensional mixed-media paintings. He accents the splendour of those trees with real bark, unique bits of compostion. Standridge glorifies Colorado's favorite tree too in her large format impressionistic canvases painted with acrylic ink. She also highlights the glories of Colorado's majestic mountain ranges that feature prominently in her work.
