Pattie Bowler
Abstract Artist

Pattie Bowler Award Winning Artist
Pattie began painting shortly before retiring from United Airlines as a flight attendant. A Passion for color and shapes in her abstracts she defines the intuitive process with multi layers of color. When beginning a painting the result rarely resembles the initial start of the piece. Working primarily in acrylics and constantly experimenting with the process pushing the envelope for changes in results. Am not content to simply blast the canvas with the saturated colors pf my paints, I utilize a heat gun to the paint until it bubbles and wraps with the fantastic textures that I desire in my work. The whimsical nature of her paintings is displayed not only in my abstract works but also in her colorful character pieces.

Belonging to local art societies and volunteering time in these groups is an important part of her growth as an artist and.served as president in various watercolor societies. She also has signature status in three different art societies, and has been featured in The Southwest Art Magazine in the past and was featured again in the December 2021 - January 2022 issue. Pattie’s work has been exhibited in galleries, including Dallas and McKinney Tx, Fallbrook, Encinitas, San Diego, Carlsbad, Placerville, CA, and now in Colorado Springs, CO at both Gallery 113 and The Look Up Gallery, both Downtown, as well as many collectors home’s across the country.

Pattie recently relocated from Roseville, CA back to Colorado Springs to be closer to her family and is looking forward to being involved again with the local art community.
